Bellevue’s History

Cornhusker Auto Wash and Detail Center was founded by Ray Fox and officially opened on February 20th, 1986 and was quickly followed by an on-site Shell gas station and Quick Stop. Ray’s vision and understanding of the growth of Bellevue was the motivation to provide the area with its first multi-service car wash. At this time, Bellevue was in its beginning stages of growth and the Fox family wanted to be part of this exciting time and help the town grow into a metropolitan city.

Each Fox family member has played an important role in the creation and growth of Cornhusker Auto Wash for the past 33 years. Ray and Donna’s grandson, Brian, and his wife, Nicole, are excited to continue serving the community after taking over the business in 2021.

The Cornhusker Auto Wash continues to receive positive feedback from the community and the Fox family encourages suggestions that will help them serve the ever-changing needs of their customers. Prior suggestions have led them to create additional service centers such as express oil changes, remote starter options, and to enhance all facets of their car washing, polishing, and detailing services.
